You're right about the SCV Digital Box...was confused with the trial HD box I had last year.
The 'Digital box' only has RCA plugs for composite video and stereo audio.
The 'HD box' does have composite as well as component video, and of course HDMI & digital audio.

Your Sony LCD TV is not put to waste yet, well...at least you can start enjoying the only 'free HD contents' now on a new gaming console, or maybe if you're considering to buy a TV recorder that has component & HDMI.
